Inside a growing fintech called N1co, innovation moves fast. New features launch, teams expand, and systems evolve. But behind the scenes, something much more personal was being overlooked: how employees access and understand their own benefits.

Inside a growing fintech called N1co, innovation moves fast. New features launch, teams expand, and systems evolve. But behind the scenes, something much more personal was being overlooked: how employees access and understand their own benefits.

The experience of finding and understanding those benefits felt fragmented. Information lived in scattered documents. This project set out to redesign the internal benefits experience of N1co employees.

Timeline

At N1co, the employee benefits platform already had its structure in place; information architecture, user flows, and content logic were defined. The experience felt dense and difficult to scan. What existed functionally didn’t fully translate visually.

Employees could access their benefits, but not always with confidence or ease.

This project focused on redesigning the interface within that existing foundation, refining hierarchy, improving clarity, and transforming a functional system into a more intuitive, human-centered experience.

With N1co’s branding already established, the UI design felt like a natural extension of the brand’s visual language.

Rather than reinventing the identity, I focused on translating it thoughtfully into the product experience maintaining the consistency of the brand and enhancing clarity and usability.

The result is an interface that feels unmistakably N1co, yet more structured, cohesive, and intuitive.

Wireframing

Wireframing became the first step in reimagining the experience. I began by identifying the strongest foundations of the original UI and stripping away unnecessary complexity.

The goal was clarity.

I redesigned the structure through clean, minimal wireframes that emphasized a stronger visual hierarchy and intuitive content grouping. Instead of overwhelming users with multiple entry points, I simplified the experience into two primary screens a clear starting point, followed by a scrollable view where employees could seamlessly explore their benefits.

By reducing structural noise and prioritizing readability, the interface shifted from dense and fragmented to focused and easy to navigate.

For the past four years, I’ve worked across B2B and B2C projects, uncovering user needs and translating them into practical solutions using Design Thinking.
